Cirotto

The Cirotto winery was founded by Leandro Cirotto in 1949 in the beautiful setting of Asolo.  

Today, the winery is run by Leandro's grandchildren Monica, Barbara and Gilberto who bring fresh energy and innovation to this family-run enterprise.  Franceso, Monica's husband also plays a major part in running the winery.

Cirotto is located in the picturesque and historical setting of Asolo, a medieval town also known as the "City of Wine", nestled in the foothills of the Dolomite mountains.

Great wines are born in the vineyard not in the cellar!  The wine starts to get their characteristics from the clayey soil, rich in sandstone rocks.   

Cirotto have a great passion for attending their vines, which are harvest by hand to achieve the upmost care, combined with a most optimum location is essential to obtain very elegant wines of the highest quality.

Just Perfect Wines has selected the very best which comprises of Cirotto's 'Prosecco Superiore Millesimato DOCG' available in Extra Brut, Brut and Extra Dry sweetness levels.  With aromas of pear and apple and fine bubbles, this is Prosecco at it's very best.

 

An extraordinary Prosecco.  Cirotto's Extra Brut style has a low level of residual sugar, just 3g sugar per litre which is only 66 cals per glass.  Most Proseccos tend to be about 15g sugar per litre.

Cirotto's Prosecco is a fine wine of high quality.  Every step of their processes are careful managed to ensure a premium quality Prosecco.  As a result, Cirotto don't need to add increased amounts of sugar to make their wines palatable like many other producers do.
